Make an Impact by


DC Centralized Network Operations Management

  • Ensure incidents are responded and attended to, or escalated for 2nd/3rd level resolution based on criticality, impact, and SLA
  • Customer Request fulfilment and system management such as Electronic Visitation Management System
  • Perform benchmarking on the system performance between all DCs and present to management.
  • Based on system data collected, perform system performance matrix and translate to individual DC for efficient operational
  • To ensure all IOT sensors deployed are accurate and good working condition, escalate to Technical specialists’ team for resolutions if data collected not accurate.
  • Able to perform troubleshooting of network connection relating to BMS/EMS/PQMS that affected the accuracy of data collection.
  • Equipped with analytic mind to read, understand and digest data collect, to provide information and recommendation for better operate the DC.
  • Must be very sound with all system MOP/SOP to provide system recovery solutions.
  • Perform shift duty to support 24x7 DC Operations

DC Facilities Management

  • Perform Event Monitoring for all Data Centre Facilities infrastructure to ensure Data Centre is in normal function (e.g. UPS, power, temperature control, humidity, water detection sensor, etc.).
  • Ensure all DC supporting infrastructure (i.e., Building Monitoring System (BMS), Environment Monitoring System (EMS), Access Control Systems, Electronic Visitation Management System, etc) are functioning well.
  • Update and maintain all DC related documentation, including reports generation where needed
  • Coordinate with various stakeholders to fix the technical issues to provide timely support to customers.
  • Coordinate maintenance and shutdowns (e.g., working with vendors for DC electrical and mechanical systems)

Incident / Change / Customer Management and other requirements

  • Manage Incidents and Closure, including Root Cause Analysis on incidents
  • Raise the necessary requests from such as Change Request or notifications requests to the customers as part of service maintenance
  • Liaise with internal and external customers and ensure that customers’ contractual service level agreements are met
  • Perform other duties such as access clearance, and participate in projects as required

The main duties and responsibilities will be subjected to review when there is change in business requirements and scope of work.


Skills for Success

  • Diploma in Engineering / IT with at least 4 years of experience in DC Operations
  • Good knowledge in Data Centre Facilities and Operations Support as well as Data Centre Operations Best Practice
  • Possess Basic Certificate of Infocomm Technology and ITIL Foundation Level Certification
  • Team player who is also able to perform independently
  • Able to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Well organized and able to reschedule priorities as circumstances change
  • Good communication skills (both verbal & written)
  • Analytical with good problem solving skills
  • Positive attitude and Proactive

Work Location: Singtel DC West

Working Hours: 12 hours (rotational)
